Introduction

Recruitment is the process of finding, identifying, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding qualified candidates for a job position in an organization.

It involves for the entire hiring process of identifying job requirements, attracting potential candidates, reviewing applications, conducting interviews and selecting the most qualified candidates for the role.

Recruitment is a key part of human resources (HR) management, and it is a crucial step in making an appropriate workforce. The effective recruitment process makes the organization more attractive to employees, which strongly impacts the company's bottom line.

As per Edwin B. Flippo, Recruitment is the procedure of searching for potential employees and stimulating and motivating them to apply for jobs in an organization

 The expanding of social media networks, a widen opportunity has been opened for recruitment linking all particles of the glob in a digital platform. The e-recruitment is the process of using these modern technology   for recruitment activities. Online recruitment make the process more convenient, efficient, and reduce the cost. Since the social media and web based sources link large number of potential personals, it is the best way to attract them in a short period of time.


Facebook:         It is a social networking site that allows users to connect with others, share content, and engage in conversations. Also, making social pages, message groups that can gather groups of people that have same intention. As per the stats, nearly 3.7 billion users from all over the world have linked with Facebook. This also can be used for recruitment posting the advertisements and grab the interesting candidates’ attention.

 

Google:   It is the most popular global technology company specialized in internet related services. It owns many web based products that link the global network.

·       LinkedIn: This is also a social media forum designed for professionals that can make network with colleagues, Find jobs, Research and development, Showcase own expertise , organize events and create contents. It easily gather the people who are in same field and it support to make the recruitment easier focusing on exact group of candidates who are willing in particular job or field.


·       Instagram : This is also a social media network plays as Facebook and currently nearly around 2.1 billions of users have been sticked with this network. It can be used for recruitment easily by sharing the job posts targeting large numbers of candidates all around the world 


·       Tik-Tok: This is a most popular social media application that allow uses create content video, edit and share under featured options. This is popular among the young generation and group of people can be engaged to a attractive content profiles.


·       WhatsApp:         This is a leading free cross platform messaging application that users can build social groups adding more people via invite links and collection candidates contact information. This is also a fast network that instantly communicates messages among the people. It can be used for the recruitment process by sharing job advertisements among the users.



Conclusion

E-recruitment via social media has become a fast and more effective way of modern recruitment, offering broader opportunities to reach the candidates spread all over the world who are in targeted pool of candidates.
